There are tons of lessons, poems, books and other media dedicated to anti-bullying. A lot of kids and teens don’t want to pick up these things if they cannot relate to it. One thing almost any teen can relate to it music. That is why a music video from a fellow teen is such a cool way to spread the awareness of bullying.

Megan Landry’s original song and video titled “Stronger” is one of those messages. Her video was even chosen from over 400 entries for the Archimedia Top Female Artist award. Her strong anti-bullying words come from her own personal experience. Being bullied in school, she found it necessary to bring light to this issue that affects so many teens every day.

Megan speaks with so much inspiration. She said “regardless of where that bully is from … the school yard, the office or maybe even at home … people need love themselves and don’t let anyone tear them down. That’s what my song is about. ” She puts this huge issue into such simple words. Her message is a great base for anti-bullying, self empowerment and self esteem.

Megan got in touch with us and we learned that she has been involved with anti-bullying organizations all over the world. Megan learned that by letting the bullies see it affects you, it will cause them to do it more. She hopes her video will help those who are starting to feel torn down, rise up! She has already touched so many lives, as her fan page shows all her supporters, and hopes to continue to inspire more!
