As of June 29th 2012, the most advanced basketball shoe of all time has been released, the Nike Hyperdunk +. It is a basketball shoe that is lined with sensors and a lot of telemetry to measure your vertical jump, acceleration, speed, hustle, etc.

You can link it up with the Nike+ Basketball app with is Free from iTunes.  The app syncs wirelessly with your Hyperdunks so you can measure your moves and share your 411 with friends.  The Hyperdunk + shoes are expensive, but you are paying for the best technology offered today!
