Blow By Blow, Your Nose
Categories: Get Well Blog
I have had a head cold for over a week. I’ve tried all sorts of remedies and medicines. Different pharmacists told me completely different things to use. Now my boyfriend has the cold. Rest is one thing they all told me and it is very important, but who can do it when you have a busy and fun life. It’s very hard for me. So what ever you try, try to get rest and make sure you blow your nose. But don’t be a blow hard. It will give you ear aches.
When you have a head cold, you should blow your nose on a regular basis. Blow your nose instead of sniffing mucus back in. The correct way to blow your nose without causing ear damage is to put one finger over one nostril and gently blow the other nostril. Try to clear it the best you can. Next, do the same thing on the other nostril. Wash your hands every time after you do this.
I’m finally feeling better, but I’m making sure my nose is clear and my hands are clean. It helps! Good luck!
